The player is guided in their quest by a specific character, beginning with Dexter's computer, Computress. Instead, they gather a loose analog known as fusion matter (which has multiple purposes) through defeating enemies and completing missions, and upon collecting enough can perform a mission to raise their level. Unlike ordinary role-playing games, the player does not gain experience in the conventional sense. The player is provided with various weapons to accomplish this, including ranged and melee weapons. Gameplay primarily focuses accomplishing missions to take you a step closer to saving the Cartoon Network Universe. The game has large playable environments, with travel facilitated by various glitch points. Their character is viewed from a third-person perspective, and the range of movement consists of walking in any direction and a huge-distance jump. In FusionFall, the player takes control of a customized avatar. In addition, small, miniaturized versions of Cartoon Network characters called Nanos are collected along the way and travel with players, providing powers and abilities to assist during missions. Upon gaining four Nanos and completing a number of key missions, the time machine is considered fixed and the player can return to the present for the main portion of the game.Ĭharacters from various original Cartoon Network shows appear in the game, redesigned in an anime style by Foo Midori. After completing an optional training level, players are tasked with repairing Dexter's time machine to return to the present. This section of the game serves as a tutorial, introducing the player to the controls and types of items in the game. This causes a time-jump error, sending the player much further into the future than Dexter intended, where they arrive in the midst of a war between the Fusions and Cartoon Network's characters, where it is evident that the Fusions are winning. As Dexter starts up the machine, Dee Dee, Dexter's sister, sneaks in and messes with the controls using her famous line "Ooh what does this button do?". The game begins with the player character participating in Dexter's time traveling experiment.
FIRST NANO FUSIONFALL SERIES
The player joins forces with the characters from various Cartoon Network series to beat this threat. Many Players felt that the Academy took away the Call to Action the Future previously created.Planet Fusion, ruled by the evil Fuse, has traveled throughout the galaxy for millennia, devastating countless planets and civilizations. This was one of the few major expansion updates conducted to the original game. The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack.NCP's: Non-Playable Characters (Original FusionFall) Main CN Characters: Compared to the Future, this area is much smaller in size and lacks as many NCP's, various Fusion Monsters, and Infected Zones. In the Academy, there were three areas the Player could move throughout. This Update, of course added new area and removed some. The Level 4 Nano Mission was changed from Eduardo to Numbuh Two, which would be given to the player in Sector V once completion of the Tutorial occurred and they had gained enough experience. Replacing them, the Player would now get the Finn Nano, Rex Nano, and Alien X Nano in the Academy. With the change of Tutorial, the previous four Nanos of Buttercup, Numbuh Two, Eddy, and Eduardo were made available in the Past in different areas. With the removal of the Future, Players who were located there were placed into Sector V in the Past to prevent them being trapped in the Future. 3 NCP's: Non-Playable Characters (Original FusionFall). While the Future no longer exists though, the fight against Fuse was claimed to not be over and Fuse has even stronger forces than before. Here, Player's could train in Skills and Technology to fight back and defeat Fuse. With this new knowledge, the CN Characters came together to form and set up the Academy, an area where new Player's could train so they could take the fight to Fuse. Their warning of the coming invasion game the CN Universe the power to fight back. This is due to the previous Player's who had been accidentally sent to the Future and brought back to the Past with the Nano Technology Blueprints. The explanation of the Academy was explained by Dexter (The Original Game Developers) that with the help of the Player's, the discovery of Fuse's Invasion stopped the Apocalyptic Future from no longer existing. It is confirmed that the Future will be located in FusionFall Legacy and is unknown what will happen to the Academy. The first four levels of the game moved much faster to get the Player into the Open World Area than it did previously in the Future, however many Players felt that the call to action was not as powerful as before.
